This was so great. The only time I saw Fugazi play and also one of the best gigs I ever attended. The venue is called Vrankrijk (no 'c').
One of the greatest gigs I've been to. Btw, the guy who kept shouting Keep Your Eyes Open was a friend of mine, the song wasn't out yet but we all had tapes of the October 15, 1988 show they did in our hometown Hoorn (where my band Vernon Walters also played).
Even though the sound quality unfortunately does not live up to the intensity and syrupy groove of this performance, I can definitely recommend it. Since this is the kind of performance that will draw you in and will have your nuts in a twist pretty soon. Suggestion (with Amy Pickering from Fire Party on guest vocals!) and Glueman are absolute highlights. Plus, I love it when the Dutch guy that repeatedly calls out for KYEO is advised by Ian to add some new songs to his set list! :-) Oh, and Link Track!!
