Even though Ian is off to a bad start with some people attending the show because of testosteron-induced acts of foolishness, I always enjoyed this as one of the better recordings ever since it was released as part of the original Fugazi Live Series. And it still sounds excellent today.

However, note that the vocals are hardly audible during Place Position, Cassavetes (although these first two songs can be considered to be the actual soundcheck preceding the introductory remarks during Interlude 1) and By You. Also, there is some distortion from the amps that interferes with the general ambiance during Long Division.
