Met my first wife at this show. Still one of my favorites ever!

I was amazed when local band Small announced Fugazi was coming to Tri-Cities. The show was fun. I remember when Ian stopped the show and confronted a man in attendance. "Get the envelope" trying to give the man his 5$ back. I can't remember why exactly, but I think someone spit on him and a fight was about to break out. Legendary!! Wasn't impressed with people booing Maybe Days. I always enjoyed their drummers style. I was 15 and had been introduced to Fugazi's inspiring music not much longer than a year earlier and could not get enough of it. I wish all bands played as animated as Fugazi did.I think we all appreciate you for coming so close to the biggest nuclear waste site, and preforming way beyond what any of us expected or at least me.

I was at this show, I was 19. I was attending Whitman College in Walla Walla. I remember it vividly as being one of the best live shows I ever attended. I was surrounded so snugly by shirtless guys that I could practically lift up both my feet off the ground and not fall down. Then I remember getting kicked in the head, and of course Ian stopped the show to scold the pit for getting too rough. Those were surely the Salad Days! P.S. Thanks for the free Egg Hunt tracks! This really brings back some great memories!!
