First show I ever saw. I was 16. Amazing then and amazing to hear again after all this time. I was blown away by the intensity and energy of the whole evening. Not sure why the cops seemed so intent to shut them down (there's always been tension between the old money elite people living downtown and the creative art school kids who made downtown liveable again) How could the cops get clearance to shut off the power so fast? And how did it keep coming back on? I'm guessing the complaints they received were from some city council guy or some other old Savannah politico that lived in the neighborhood. It wasn't even THAT late, we're talking 1 or so at the latest as I remember. Despite all the setbacks it was a great show. Thanks Fugazi and Standard Records for a highlight evening of my teenage years.

As mentioned, a very brief show because of issues with the police and a constant threat of being shut down. Note that a power failure cuts off both Great Cop and Song #1. Guy and Ian are being lighthearted and in good spirits throughout nevertheless :)

I was at this show, and I am so glad there is a recording to immortalize it!!! The cops kept shutting things down, and even went so far as to cut the power, but Fugazi and Shudder to Think both played incredible sets and could not have been more gracious. Thank you so much for making this available!
