I vividly remember Ian, in his opening remarks, saying "I saw Liddy Dole's speech last night . . . that was truly bizarre..." It was the height of the presidential campaign, and Ian took note... This was a great show for me, as I just happened to be in D.C. at the time. I think they opened with "Birthday Pony" to celebrate someone's birthday.

I really enjoyed listening to this recording. The band and the audience sound in good spirits. This show includes the debuts of no fewer than 4 songs from 'End Hits': 'Guilford Fall' (instrumental version), 'Place Position' (introduced as 'Legal / illegal'), 'Five Corporations', and 'Break' (instrumental version). Recommended.
