My Very First Fugazi show. It was at New Horizons, it was a (mostly) Reggae club, upstairs over an Adult Bookstore on Broad Street (or was it Grace street??) A great Venue until it caught Fire & was Destroyed!
I Brought my Can of Peas for the Food drive & $1 discount on my $5 ticket, which I still have the stub.
ButterGlove was Forgettable (at this show) Burma Jam were Great! (my favorite Local Band, & The Alternatives were Actually a Lot of Fun for a Mostly instrumental band. They were Dressed as Clowns, if I am remembering right!
Fugazi came onstage, which had a Bank of Random TV sets as backdrop, But the show was hampered by Equipment Failures & constant Minor Threat Song Requests! They Never really got the Grove going.
BUT it was still a Great night. I had recently started school at VCU, from NY, but I Didn't know a Soul there!
There is no recording available for this concert. If you have a recording of this show that you would like to share with us please write to [email protected]
