As I was travelling around Europe, i kept periodically seeing flyers for Fugazi shows...first, in Dublin (which i missed by one day). Then, somewhere in Spain (which i missed by 2 days). Later on, in June, i saw another one in Prague, which was taking place 2 days after my departure...but instead of leaving, i ran into an old friend on the street who offered me a job and a place to stay in Prague. I decided to move there and as an added bonus-I finally got to catch a European Fugazi show!! And what a fantastic show it was-the lobby of the venue was crowded with interesting people from around the region, selling their own music, books, etc. and handing out info about dissidents still being held in Czech prisons. A true gathering in the punk rock spirit, followed by a great Fugazi show-one I'll never forget. And now it's available for download-thanks to modern technology and the hard work of a tireless band!
