At 0:33 of Recap Modotti, someone (probably Joe) says something in Italian. It sounds like "Questa canzone è per Paolo Enea", or perhaps "Questa canzone è per Paolo e Enea" i.e. it's probably a dedication, to Paulo Enea, or perhaps to Paolo and Enea. If the latter is right then it is probably a literary reference as Paolo (Saint Paul) and Enea are mentioned in Dante's Inferno. In legend, Enea is associated with the origins of Rome, which might explain why Joe started speaking Italian in Edinburgh - Edinburgh is a city built on 7 hills like Rome, as you will learn if you climb any hill in Edinburgh and read the tourist information at the top.
