Second show of the fall 2000 Northern Europe trek at the Swedish capital Stockholm. The band in a pretty relaxed mood but clearly anxious to play. Great flow of songs right away, as you can clearly hear someone (Brendan?) yell "Number 5" after Birthday Pony and off they go. Then it's pretty much non-stop awesomeness with only a small interlude after And The Same interrupting the guitar swells of Turnover. My guess is Ian cools off someone maybe attempting to stage dive or otherwise cause trouble.

Then it's a really nice flow of more peaceful numbers with a top-notch rendition of personal favorite Closed Captioned merging into a groovy Cassavetes being one of the highlights for me.

The sound is a pretty dry soundboard but nicely laid out in the stereo field. The drums especially sound very natural, which isn't a negative in my opinion after the recording draws you in. Cool little effects used occasionally like the slap-back delay on Guy's vocals during Oh. What's really cool is that the on-stage shouts are audible here and it really adds to the experience.

Like all the shows from this era, the set draws from the whole repertoire. A big plus is to hear the band test-drive new songs from the then upcoming Argument album. The final encore offers a practically perfect mix of groovy, cunning, sweet and epic.

A really nicely flowing show, absolutely recommended!
