We Won’t Go Without Them!
Tour 1997. I was booking bands at the Black Cat and had used some connections to get a handful of shows, we had played with a band called Cranium a number of times and decided to take them along. They, without telling us, had invited Crom-Tech along. Basically, we went to every show and had to beg to get Crom-tech on the bill. I had originally asked Crom-Tech to stay at home because it just meant it would make it harder on all of us. Cranium refused to go without them.
Our first tour in summer ‘97 was a mess. We didn't have many shows booked before we left. For the first week we followed The Cranium on their tour with The
Monorchid and tried to hop on their shows. We were successful only in Memphis where literally nobody came to the show. we eventually ditched their tour and set off on our own through the desert... some of them didn't seem too happy that we were uninvitedly following them and The Cranium and trying to jump on their shows.
