Davis (Q And Not U) unveils the development of punk fanzines and their role in supporting DC's hardcore and punk scene from the 1970s into the twenty-first century. He sheds new light on DC's scene and highlights some of its key personalities, including many who are often left out of punk history, with high-quality images of rare zines and insights from numerous interviews with zine creators and musicians. Continuals follow up their 2024 self-titled debut album with “Never Sleep.” Thirteen songs.  Melissa Quinley (Soccer Team, Joy Viver) joins the band on keyboards, and sings lead vocals on nine songs. She and guitarist and singer Ryan Nelson (Soccer Team, The Most Secret Method), bass player Michael Honch (Alarms & Controls, Samuel S.C.), and drummer Darren Zentek (Kerosene 454, Channels), recorded these songs in Baltimore, MD with J. Robbins at The Magpie Cage in May 2025.  Purchase here. 

The Owner’s new six-song EP, Monster, is out now—a split release between Dischord Records and Red Room Records—recorded at Ivakota in Washington, DC. The Owners are Dante and Catherine Ferrando, Laura Harris, and Alec Budd, whose members have played in Ex Hex, The Shirks, Gray Matter, Iron Cross, and The Problematics, among others.

The A-side is from the Wilson Center in April of 1982, on a bill with Minor Threat and the Faith. The B-Side is from a show at DC's  9:30 Club with Negative Approach. Recorded just a few months before the legendary Faith/Void LP was released Recorded by Tom Lyle from Government Issue, with photos from Jim Saah and art from Jason Farrell, Void - Live 1982. Pressed on limited edition clear vinyl by Outer Battery Records.
